KENNAMETAL INFRASTRUCTURE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (ILP)


The Infrastructure Leadership Program (ILP) is a 24 month program designed to expose & develop candidates to various functions within the commercial organization at Kennametal, which includes Infrastructure Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Services, Customer Service and COE's (Centers of Excellence). Through exposure during rotational training and developmental assignments at various Kennametal facilities, the program participant is better prepared to advance their career as a leader within the Kennametal enterprise and begin their career path. At the end of this 24-month program, the candidate can compete for a fully defined position that aligns with their career aspirations, personal skills & interests with an appropriate level position at a competitively attractive salary & benefits package.


 


This exciting program consists of three, consecutive, 8 month rotations, typically in 2 - 4 different Kennametal locations across the US.


Post completion of program, the considered role will be a full time position within the commercial organization which serves varied markets such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Construction, Mining, & Wear Solutions. The position upon completion will be based on incumbents' strengths and interest, as well as business conditions at that time.


Participants will benefit from additional leadership and function-specific training during the program.

Metal cutting & Earth cutting tooling Applications


Materials Management


Underground & Surface Mining


Energy Applications


Heavy Construction (roads, etc.)


Foundation Drilling


Supervisory Skills


Lean and Continuous Improvement


Environmental, Health & Safety; Importance of Safety


Core business acumen: Finance, HR, IT, Marketing, Legal, Business Development


Project Management


SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)


Leadership


 


Education requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Technical field: Engineering, Operations, Energy, Mining, Business and relevant internship experience. Or, Master's level preferred.


Strong organization, facilitation, presentation, leadership, project management and communication skills.


Ability to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.


Willingness to travel & relocate immediately and in the future.


 


Must be a US citizen, or hold a Green Card

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
